You can also read emails or business articles while you’re eating lunch and listen to podcasts or news while exercising.

At the start of the day, while you’re still fresh, take on that unpleasant task that you’d rather skip all together. Put it behind you early, and the rest of the day will be a breeze in comparison.

The truth is that many face-to-face meetings could be handled much more efficiently with a memo, eliminating digressions and unnecessary distractions. When meeting in person is actually necessary, arrive with an agenda that includes the start and end times, and stick to it.

Try to get your least pleasant tasks completed first, and don’t get trapped in meetings that go on longer than necessary.
